Sri Lanka at the 2027 World Cup

Sri Lanka's 1996 triumph, sealed by beating Australia in the Lahore final, changed how one-day cricket was played. They reached two more finals, in 2007 and 2011.

In 2027 they open against a qualifier in Windhoek and play England, Bangladesh, New Zealand and South Africa in Group B.

They are pre-seeded B3 for the Super 7, which gives fans an early idea of where their second-round matches would be played.
