When will the 2027 World Cup jerseys be launched?
No team had revealed a 2027 World Cup kit when we last checked. At recent ICC tournaments, teams have usually launched their special kits a few weeks before the first match, often with a launch video on social media and the replica going on sale the same day. For an October 2027 start, the most likely window is August–September 2027.

Kit partners
India's kit is made by adidas, which has been India's kit partner since 2023. We'll add each other team's kit partner as it's confirmed for 2027.

How World Cup kits differ from normal ODI shirts
ICC tournaments have their own clothing rules, so World Cup shirts often look slightly different from the ones worn in bilateral series:
- Country name on the chest. At recent ICC events, teams have worn their country's name across the front, with the main shirt sponsor moved to the sleeve.
- Tournament patch. Shirts carry the official event logo on the sleeve or chest. Replicas sold before the event sometimes leave it off.
- Clashing colours. Teams with similar colours may wear an alternate or "clash" kit in some matches.
How to spot a fake jersey
Fake World Cup jerseys flood marketplaces before every big tournament. Watch for:
- Prices that look too good. Official replicas are rarely discounted heavily before a tournament starts.
- Blurry or uneven printing on logos, numbers and the tournament patch.
- No proper tags. Genuine shirts have product codes on the swing tag and the inside label, and they should match.
- Sellers with no history or listings that use the brand's own photos only.
The safest options are the kit maker's own website and stores, the team board's official shop, and well-known retailers. On marketplaces, check that the seller is the brand or an authorised reseller.
Fan jerseys vs player-issue jerseys
Most teams sell two versions:
- Fan / replica jersey: a looser, cheaper version made for everyday wear.
- Player / match jersey: the same fabric and cut the players wear, at a higher price.
Personalised names and numbers usually cost extra and can take longer to deliver. Order early if you want your shirt before match day.
