About this match
Match 34 is a Super 7 fixture on Monday 25 October 2027 at Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, starting at 10:00 AM local time (1:30 PM IST).
The teams shown are provisional. The ICC pre-seeded seven teams into Super 7 slots so fans can plan travel: Australia holds slot A2 and Sri Lanka holds slot B3. If either fails to qualify, the team that takes its place inherits this fixture.
All seven Super 7 teams start on zero points, and the top four go through to the semi-finals.

Venue: Wanderers Stadium
Known as 'the Bullring' for its steep, enclosed stands, the Wanderers is South Africa's largest cricket ground and will host the 2027 final, as it did in 2003. It is also where South Africa famously chased 435 against Australia in 2006, still one of the great one-day matches.
Conditions: High-altitude Highveld ground. Good bounce, fast outfield and plenty of runs. Afternoon thunderstorms become more common from late October.
Weather: Warm, sunny days of around 24–27°C in October and November. Brief, heavy afternoon storms are a feature of the Highveld summer.
